Student Legal Services

Student Legal Services provides free, confidential legal counseling, education, and referrals to UCSD students and student organizations. We provide legal workshops and conduct individual and group counseling sessions. In addition to our set workshop schedule, we present specific workshops as requested. Give us a call!

 

Community Law Project (CLP)

In addition to providing traditional legal services and education, Student Legal Services coordinates a legal service-learning program designed to assist pre-law students in their career pursuits while providing a service to San Diego’s disadvantaged and underrepresented community.

Mock Trial Program

Student Legal Services coordinates a Mock Trial Program for undergraduate students interested in trial advocacy or law school.

Free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)

In conjunction with the Internal Revenue Service and Student Educational Advancement, Student Legal Services provides free, confidential federal and state income tax return preparation by certified IRS volunteers participating in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program.
